The Hoddesdon Crownsmen have retired

Mysteriously none of us is getting any younger, and with no new members we can't dance out as much as we should. We've had a great time dancing in the Albert Hall and on TV, touring abroad, and showing the others how it should be done, so we've decided to quit while we're ahead. Thanks to everyone who's supported us over the years.

The Hoddesdon Crownsmen danced rapper, a traditional form of dance from the North East of England, as well as performing morris jigs and a mummers' play.

You can find out more about what we did, and look at some photos or videos.
